Carrollton Georgia Schools

Whether a pre-school student, college student, or any level in-between, Carrollton Georgia schools offer a full range of facilities to meet all educational needs.

The beautiful campus of the University of West Georgia is located on Maple Street in the heart of Carrollton. More than 10,000 students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees enroll at UWG each year.

West Georgia Technical College, a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, opened its first campus in Carrollton in 1968. West Georgia Tech now has campuses in Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, and Haralson Counties.

Two separate school systems provide public school education to the city of Carrollton Georgia and Carroll County Georgia.

Carrollton City Schools serve the children of the city of Carrollton. Others outside the city may also enroll as non-resident, tuition-paying students. All grades (PreK - 12th) are centralized on an impressive 150-acre campus.

The students of Carroll County are served by the Carroll County School System. Twenty-two schools in the county provide Pre-K through 12th grade education to approximately 14,800 students. Carrollton is also home to a number of private school facilities.
